2024 is finally drawing to an end, and it has been another exceptional year for cinema. As of writing, I have seen 71 new releases in 2024, not including 2023 films that had a delayed UK release date. This also excludes films yet to release in the UK, several of which may break into my top ten after they are released in the New Year, and may possible show up during the 2nd Annual DanLovesFilm Awards.
I also have not seen everything that has come out this year, far from it, so there may be some films that I am yet to see that could break into the 10, but as the year closes this is the list I have compiled.
Let me know your favourite movies of 2024, soon to follow is my list of my worst movies of 2024.

I think it’s great that there was only one film in common between your top ten and my top ten (“Challengers”) and there were seven in your top ten that I hadn’t even seen (nobody sends me review copies; I don’t know if you get them). It just shows there’s a LOT of films out there to see and there’s literally something for everyone.

Exactly. People have different tastes and that is fine but as long as people support the industry that is all that matters
