Producers’ Guild of America Nominations

Ever since both the PGA and the Academy Awards have increased their nomination slots to 10, there has been a strong correlation between the two. The PGA nomination usually go at least 8/10 with the eventual Best Picture nominations at the Academy Awards, although they did differ slightly more last year with “Glass Onion”, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” and “The Whale” missing out on Oscar nomination morning.

It therefore does not bode well for those who have missed out on the ten slots here, these include several films that have been on the peripheries throughout award season including: “The Colour Purple”, “May December”, “Air” and “Saltburn”.

The latest class of nominees also welcomes a PGA first, with two international films in the line-up, with Justine Triet‘s “Anatomy of a Fall” and Jonathan Glazer‘s “The Zone of Interest” making the cut.
